How do I pay for my sale container?

You can pay by Cash, Cheque, Bank Cheque, Direct Deposit Or Master Card / Visa (1% surcharge)

How will I be invoiced for my rental container?

On the first invoice we ask for the delivery & pick up cost as well as a minimum one months hire.

Can I buy my rental container?

Yes you can! Unlike other companies we do allow for you to purchase. Price will vary according to the type of container, the length of time it has been on hire and if the account has been kept up to date.

How much can I fit into a container?

The most common size of container is 20` (6m) and this will hold 33 cubic meters or roughly a 3 to 4 bed room house. Sizes are: (Length x Height x Width)

  • 10` x 8`6“ x 8` / 3m x 2.6m x 2.4m
  • 20` x 8`6“ x 8` / 6m x 2.6m x 2.4m
  • 40` x 8`6“ x 8` / 12m x 2.6m x 2.4m

Do you buy containers?

Yes we do, whether you purchased from us in the past or not, you can email admin@huntercontainers.com.au photos of the container you have for sale and we will make you an offer over the phone.

General Container Hire FAQ's

How do I rent a storage container?

To begin the online rental process, you will need a valid Master card or Visa, Request your quote online, you wll need to fill out our quote request form to recieve your rental agreements. Once this is done, we can usually deliver your Hunter Container with in 24 to 48 hours.

Do you offer insurance?

No, you will need to contact your own insurance company. For move containers we can help organise by putting you in touch with a company that specialises in container move insurance.

 

Removals Insurance Australia

Insure your goods whilst being packed, moved and in storage with a CARTS Removals and Storage Insurance policy.

I am unsure as to what size I need. Can you advise?

Do I require Council permission?

A container is a removable object and does not normally require a D.A. Each council is a little different, if you are concerned it is best to contact your council and ask.

Do we need to place anything under the container?

Generally not, the container floor sits about 10cm off the ground. If you would like to elevate the container we suggest railway sleepers. Make sure you advise the truck driver when your container arrives.

Can I modify my hire container ?

Above all, we offer a range of containers for hire and even sometimes have modified containers for hire. However, to sum it up simply, please don’t modify or tamper with your hire container otherwise discussed with your sales representative.

What If I'm Hiring A Container For A Relocation ?

That is okay, we allow the relocation of hire containers but we will need to be made aware of this in the initial enquiry, with the desired address.
Our Team will need to be updated on the location of the container, before, and once moved.
